Case of the Month #24: Long Covid by Dr Angeline Lee
Investigations: Blood tests including a full blood count, urea and electrolytes are normal.
Social history: She has changed her work pattern from full time to part time and has taken more sick leave days. She is a non-smoker and drinks alcohol only occasionally. She lives at home with her husband and two young children and works as an accountant.
Mental health: PHQ-9 scores for depression and GAD-7 scores for anxiety were normal, but she has been feeling very distressed and feeling like she cannot cope with this. It has taken her 11 months from GP referral to be seen in the clinic.
